Salem Ballad-A "Mississippi John Hurt’s version of Stagger Lee" parody

A Poem by LMMDN
"

A Ballad about the book "The Crucibles" by Arthur Miller

"

“ Everyone is in jail”

Judge, you impeached everyone except

Young Abigail

That poor and helpless, Abigail

“ God is dead” exclaimed dear Proctor

They all thought he was but the demon’s author

That poor and helpless, Abigail

“ Reverend stop them if you can!

I am but a God’s man “

That poor and helpless, Abigail

And so in the morning they all prayed for him,

Except young Abigail

That poor and helpless, Abigail
