Unspoken words

Unspoken words

A Poem by ShooBLeeDoo

I like you, I like your heart,
But circumstances keep us apart.
I'm not saying your not pretty, as that's definitely not the case,
It's the way that you act, which makes my pulse race,
I like that your sensitive and caring and kind.
These qualities that are important to all of mankind,
But few people live by these guides on our earth,
As life can be cruel and can change you from birth,
Maybe that's why I'm so scared to approach you,
As I once let someone close but they tore me in two.
It's taken a long time to heal what's been broken,
What I did to myself in Love is unspoken.
I built my walls high and let no one love me,
The closer they got, the further I'd flee.
But now that I've seen you act as you do.
My walls had become weakened, almost all the way through,
To say that I'll tell you just how that I'm feeling,
Would not cross my mind as my heart continues healing.
So I've written these words for what my voice cannot speak
In the hope that by miracle you'd understand and come seek.,

interesting that it starts out with
circumstances...
then it seems that you create the
circumstance of walls... and
circumstances happen that they have
to crumble...
maybe you sharing is the miracle
you are looking for.
