“Everything About You”

I wrote this when I was missing my girlfriend back home.

I sit under the brightest stars,

Going head over heels thinking of you.

Although, I am trapped in bars.

Nothing can halt my love for you.

 

 

Your soft voice,

Just like the soft breeze of spring.

If I was presented with a choice,

I’d love to hear your voice over anything.

 

 

The stars I mentioned earlier?

They are nothing compared to your eyes,

You might call me a liar,

But that is the truth, none otherwise.

 

 

Your touch,

Like the soft petals of a rose.

I miss it so much.

‘Till we meet again, I suppose…

 

 

A thousand kilometers away,

Seems like a fate worse than immortality.

And here, to myself, I say.

I love you… Unconditionally.
