The Scrolls

The Scrolls

A Poem by Whiskurz

A set of scrolls, buried deep
Was found on yonder hill
A curse of sorts to be set free
That a virgin must fulfill

It spoke of a golden ladder
That led down an empty well
A gateway into the darkness
To a door that leads to hell

A way to set the demons free
To pass their demon seed
For every thousand years or so
The demons need to breed

Chosen by the evil one
The scrolls would be unearthed
The virgin descends into the well
'Til a legion of demons are birthed

Once the curse has been fulfilled
The ladder just disappears
'Til another virgin's been chosen
In another thousand years

Vow! Great mystical prevalence.I niether thought that such can be composed out of mystics. You precisely compacted a tale in a brief poetic manner.I liked the reference of scroll to commence the poem.Alas! Not the happy ending for the virgin.keep writing.:-;-)

I loved it. The poem was sad and creepy, but it was a good read :3
