The Perfect Love Poem

The Perfect Love Poem

A Poem by Whiskurz

If I could write like William Shakespeare
You would be my Juliet
I would write the perfect love poem
The world could not forget
If I could paint da Vinci's masterpiece
The world would know your name
Your smile would steal the hearts of men
Your beauty would bring you fame
If I could play the perfect love song
Mozart himself, would blush
Your song would be on everyone's lips
And cause their hearts to rush
If I could tell the perfect love story
Twain's pen would be retired
You would be the world's best seller
And by everyone, desired
If I could choose the perfect flower
You would be my rose
The flower of love would be your name
My heart is where it grows
If I could write the perfect love poem
There would be nothing I'd have to do
For this poem's already been written
This poem of love is you

If someone had wrote that poem to me, I'd fall in love straight away! The last verse is the one I prefer, although the whole poem is so well written and not too cheesy, just the perfect amount of love.

Oh... nice writing, Whisk! This lady has captured your heart and you write of her with such skill and style. It is a very lovely "love" poem, indeed.
