Is it Me?

Is it Me?

A Poem by LaterBabe

Im your wife.
I married you;
I choose you.
Its been two months now;
And already were crumbling.
Slipping like sand through our fingers;
Until there’s nothing more.
You say I changed;
When I said I do.
But so did you,
Your every other word if it isn’t a demand;
Is a criticism.
I have to beg you for a compliment.
Wondering why at night,
you no longer roll over in your sleep;
And hold me tight;
with a kiss steal my breath away,
or even why you did in the first place
and sometimes,
I think this dark thought in my head.
Was it her while you were kissing me?
Was it ever me?
Who stirs the passion in your thoughts,
The fire in your veins.
Is it me please tell me its me...
Because if it breaks this time
I don’t have it in me too be strong enough.
