Yet I am!

Yet I am!

A Poem by LatoyaEvans

Years fold on to months - in a room full of weeks while
Days slip into minutes on a bed of seconds oh so sweet
As your definition of me fall from your heavy lazy lips
I dance through your world in endless bliss.
Your tongue a heavy mass of lies and sacrifice
Hiding childishly behind teeth stained with your own insecurities
Do not bother me.
I hear the words of your own ignorance shouting at yourself
Not at me. I know who and what I am
You need to start looking.
