Release

A Poem by Laura Kate

He clings to me
like the butterfly
who commits to the direction of the wind
that releases him from the web
in which he winds himself up,
and thought he would be stuck,
forever.

yes, some people just do that...they have a certain beauty that intrigues us. but sometimes that beauty wanes because of the clinging...we want to release the other...hope a wind will come by and whisk him or her away...
very interesting, short write that allows us to go to our own place.
