Deserted

Deserted

A Poem by Laura Kate

You are

that one grain of sand,

lost in the vast desert,

blown around by the wind,

buried under soles of others,

waiting to be found.

That one in a million, or kajillion. So rare. I wonder if the hearts will draw each other out like magnets.
It would be nice to think it's possible.

i feel for this grain, and hope he or she is found...really like the double meaning of the title.
