Swirling Sickness

Swirling Sickness

A Poem by LawrenceA
"

A sickness has a certain heat to it.

"

A swirling heat

Flashes of hatred

My body is heavy

The world is stopped

A cold chill moves up my spine

The aching pain that has replaced my world

The numbness of my heart

The swelling of my feet

The day has burned into the night

Night has bleed into day

The has withered away

The sun has cooled into a husk

This swirling chaos

Infecting my body

Bleeds away slowly

Leaving me in the grey
