Life - a series of rollercoaster emotions

Our journey of life can sometimes be bittersweet, ups and downs or disturbed by tragedy. yet, life goes on.

I got some shocking and tragic news today,

my co-worker and former boss passed away yesterday.

I think I am still in shock,

a life too precious,

so young and taken away.

 

 

A few months aback,

another of my co-workers departed,

It's only this much we can grapple with.

That along with another lady,

whose son was assassinated in Kenya,

a few months aback.

 

 

Life is a funny thing,

one minute we're here,

the next day we're not,

how do we muster the courage to endure?

 

 

Seasons of tragedy and pain,

are often forgotten and replaced by the happier ones.

The birth of  a baby,

a new love,

a marriage.

Life is like a rollercoaster,

we just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.

 

 

Life is like a thread dispappearing into the wind,

battered and thrown about,

but it's how you learn to dance in the breeze,

that makes life a memorable journey.

 

 

So don't worry about tomorow,

or what the future holds,

Have faith in God,

For it's only through Him,

that we can find peace and joy,

in a crazy world.
