The face

The face

A Poem by Laymeto.rest
"

The face

"
As I ponder alone, in my room
The absence of you, leaves me to loom
When I've made peace, with this uneasy place
I always capture a glimpse, of this seeming face
In corners of dark spaces, catching my peripheral eye
I just want to be left alone, but you're consistent to pry
Is it my unconsciousness, manifesting itself
Or have I gone mad long ago, my mind on a dusty shelf
