On the Border

On the Border

A Poem by Leigh Green

On the border there is never quite enough

But if your eye is keen and your aim is true

If you are lucky you can navigate your way through

Out there, somewhere there is a peaceful beauty

And all along and seemingly forgotten

In the wild wood where the ancient druid vines hang

There is an eternal feeling of a world untouched

The essence of a previous age that lingers on

But not a mile from there across the littered ground

An ugly new way of living is being born

Where people camp and work, just clinging on to life

And amongst them there is an excited feeling

A new restlessness of hope and fear grows like a virus

Which in its infancy somehow will last forever

And from it a million and one dreams are born

They are lived, shattered and then disregarded

On the border there is no fixed state of being

They are the Lost Lands where indecision rules

And people are caught in the shadows between

They are forced to go where they don’t want to

WHAT AM I?: Nephilim WHAT AM I?: Nephilim
A teen boy gets killed, but trades his soul for another chance. He changes. A girl notices the new boy with silver eyes.
Kept my mind straight into this poem, and wounder what this poem is caged up and be tortured (in other words this poems shows many emotion that one should not see)

There is a case sometimes for saying that we shouldn't see too much. Even though our visions are grand they don't truly represent the intimations we see. Its a little like seeing Victoria Station in a vision without realizing the connections it serves to different parts of the city.

The sensation that arises from such an experience is a little like drowning in an ocean if we don't realize why we are there in the first place.
