I`m just messing about with homophones and punctuation.
This will be removed in a few days, it`s just a literary joke.
The last line is supposed to sound like a dog barking

i think the dedication should extend to eugene ionesco as well. this is quite reminiscent of his play The Bald Soprano, where conversation and language degenerates into simple sounds.

reminds me of lucky's soliloquy in waiting for godot. there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. but it sounds truly intellectual and rich in meaning shrouded in the absurdity of his speech. it is a fantastic and ironic ending as both becket and joyce implement. joyce being completely intelligible to me. love this piece. love the intention.

Though this doesn't make sense, it's funny. The last line does indeed sound like a dog barking.

I like this. It's a fun poem. Poetry should be many things and fun is one of them!

. ah ... perhaps mr. beckett and mr. joyce are smiling at these words ... i must also add that looking for that peace is as exasperating as you described ... please don't remove this little gem of a poem ... :) ...

i don't know of any rule that poetry can't be fun

The simplicity is what appeals. Why remove it? It is a wonderful little piece.
