There is a storm comeing

And it's comeing in fast and hard

This is the type of storm that will break your heart

 

The thounder will roll as his cold eyes meet mine

The lightning will strike as he stomps his feet

And the rain shall poor as I watch him walk away

 

The storm has come and gone

And I am left damaged and broken

But all I can do for now is get up and get my heart ready for the next one

You did a really nice job on this. Relating a storm to a rocky relationship was a good metaphor to use and you did it so nicely. You also left a foreboding feeling to the reader with your last line. Nice writing.
