The Moebius Life

The Moebius Life

A Poem by Leto
"

MoebiusBand–noun Geometry. A continuous, one-sided surface formed by twisting one end of a rectangular strip through 180° about the longitudinal axis of the strip and attaching this end to the other.

"

What we seek in life

Is what gives us breath

We gain truth and knowledge

From what was sought

When there is nothing to lose

There is nothing to mourn

But if we’ve lost nothing

There is nothing to be gained

What was lost makes us search

When there is nothing, then we’re lost

From knowledge, we gain truth

But if the truth we don’t know

Than nothing has been gained

And we have lived for nothing

Then our life has been lost

An interesting poem that shows a good moral to remember in life. For in truth, do we honestly learn more about ourselves. If we don't acknowledge the truth, we can't honestly expect to learn things. I have always believed that learning is a three step process. Knowledge, understanding, and acceptance are what I believe to be vital to the learning process. Your poem is very well written, and helps to demonstrate this.

About
I like writing. That's probably the only interesting thing about me. Writing has always been a love/hate sort of relationship for me. I love writing down all my ideas, but my problem has always be.. more..
