Looking for your advice.

I just started my journalism major and have a huge passion for writing. I was hoping 

that everyone who sees this could leave at least one piece of advice that they have for

writing. Even if you have simple life advice (not writing related), that is also 

appreciated. That would be fantastic, thank you so much!

Tell the truth. If you're going to take writing seriously, you have to tell what you know. Be truthful in what you know, and create feeling to coincide with the truth you're telling. You have to commit to writing everyday; it's like, part of your daily ritual, or whatever. Be YOU, and never be afraid to write your feelings. That's the most important. Remember why you started writing in the first place, and don't ever forget it. If you're truly passionate, you'll prosper. Best of luck!
