Resurfaced Confusion

Resurfaced Confusion

A Poem by Askew
"

I might delete this

"
I thought things had changed.
I'm supposed to be over this,
Supposed to be finished with this.
It's an addiction!
It's always on my mind,
And I'm hyper aware of it's presence.
It's a he
And he drives me mad
With how he affects me.
Six months later,
I thought I'd never care again.
So what is he doing
Wandering about my brain
And addling all rational thoughts?

Sometime confusion can find us dear Askew. I liked the honest thoughts leading to the proper ending. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

The wondering thought of someone you hope not to care about anymore, man can I relate. Well done.

Ah dear old love rearing his head again, that is the funny thing about relationships and love. Even when you think you are over them. You still can't but reflect and think of them. Nicely done Lexi. Enjoyed this.
