Tell Me Why All of You

Tell Me Why All of You

A Poem by Alexis
"

Sort of just venting.

"

I guess here is where the misunderstanding will start.

What you say makes no sense and your words mean nothing to me

You say you wish for this, but then you wish for it not

It seems like you're trying to confuse us all a lot

When the darkness descends upon one selected child,

You pretend you'll be there to help her and protect her

So why would you possibly even consider pushing her down?

To see if you could be considered the class clown?

I don't see why you all need to be so "out of it"

When you hear about this on the news, you feel terribly sad

But when you witness it it's no big deal

It's only one's happiness that someone is trying to steal

Tell me why you all, and I mean every single one of you,

you feel that it is necessary to torment one little girl

to the point of disbelief

You have caused her an unbelievable amount of grief

Tell me why you all, and I mean every single one of you,

do you feel that making someone else leave for good is wonderful

This girl, she sits at home in her room and has nothing to do

You must understand why she would be blue

Tell me why you all, and I mean every single one of you,

do you think that she's still the most blissful person I've ever met,

regardless of how much you've put her through?

Because she is forgiving. And loving, too.

But, do tell me why you all... Every single one of you...

Why you still find the need to make her feel bad inside

When she's already been through so much in her short time.

On any of you, she should not ever waste a single dime.
