Left By YourselfA Poem by Alexis...Lost in the depths of the deepest trench, Soiled into the dirt where there's no oxygen, Pushed into the dirty water and forced to drink it Left by yourself where no one will hear your cries. Abandoned in the darkness of the room with no light, Lather me in the words of your relentless ways, Dropped into the well to lie at the bottom, Left by yourself where no one is going to help you. Stranded in the wilderness with frightening creatures, Mocked by their faces of hunger and excitement, Poked, pushed and pulled by their sticky fingers, Left all alone where no one will ever see me again.
