Even I may never understand.

The words won't flow to my fingers the way they did

just yesterday.

The words won't flow through my mind the way they did

just last month.

Dearest friend,

please tell me why everything going on around me

makes absolutely no sense.

Dearest friend,

please tell me why I've decided that the end

is only for the best.

Explain to me why the pain became too much for me

Elaborate on why you never really seemed to care for me

It's always the same old stuff in poetry

"The pain never subsides"

"I'm lost and no one seems to be finding me at all"

When the pain inside is as real as ever,

there's nothing you CAN do except think

of the cliche phrases that seem to have

such little meaning.

The words won't flow to my fingers the way they did

I can relate to this, a lot actually. Sometimes I believe when we are upset from something painful happening, our writing abilities either become weakened or just the opposite. It seems like we can't find the words we could find before. Why does this happen? I have no idea. But this poem is amazing; full of emotion, questions, personal pain. I enjoyed this a lot. And I believe you'll make it through! Just keep your head up.

The feeling of losing a friend is so heavy that we may not notice it right away.

Even if its a person you despise and hate, you can't help but feel an emptiness inside when they aren't there. Losing anyone you see regularly hurts, I don't care what anyone says. Think of it this way: this is your way of trying to sort out your thoughts and concerns. It'll work out, I promise. I'v lost so many friends...I know my way around the block. You're gonna be alright kiddo. I promise.
