Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by Liderien

I stand at the edge. The depths compel me to enter in.

The glimmering reflection of the sun

Has me mesmerized in its display.

All knowledge falls from my eyes sheets of rain.

The warmth of the light cradles my heart and numbs my fears.

I stare longer into the Coves  promise for peace

my body draws closer to its destiny.

Helplessly I fall into its inevitable embrace.

Oh my god. This peace. Leaves me speechless. It's as if I founder in that cove. As the ripples float away I am just happy to watch the sun dance where I have gone below the surface.

You have made quite a splash here dare I say. What a talented gift you have. I am certain of your craft and calling. This piece I cannot say enough for but I try.

Thank You for writing it. Thank you for sharing it.

Destiny and fate seem to be cousins, but then I think of them as luck turned inside out...there is a surrendering that occurs, and must occur, but always we want some say in how it all comes together.

Nice bit of truth here in your lines...

A dream that becomes real. This is the thought that came to mind.
Beautiful, strong poetry here. Thank you.

Sublime! The utter peace of surrender, not with doubt or hesitation but with longing, yearning, connection...beautiful! xoxo

The fourth line confuses me a bit, ' ...my eyes sheets of rain..' can you help? Other than that I enjoyed the direction of this :)
