Death

Death

A Poem by k.s.

I died.

I remember the sirens,

the broken glass,

the blood.

Yet here I am,

walking through

my home

but no one sees me.

They never do.

I scream,

till my lungs

Shatter.

They keep living,

even though

I can’t do the same.

How selfish of us

to believe

life ends

after death.
