Addicting

Addicting

A Poem by k.s.

it doesn’t matter what

you’ve done to me.

because every chance

i get i run back to

you

like an addict.

i want to suffocate

in the smoke of

your love,

and drown in

the whiskey that

tastes like your

lips.

i can’t break this

habit

that has become you.

i’m not sure

if i want to.

i want to morph

our bodies

into one,

but the closer

i pull you to me

the farther

you slip away.
