Two Stars..One moon~A Poem by Lily Mae
Where do my tears go when they flow from my heart?
For a moment with breath baited by love... can you feel the me inside you screaming to be birthed?
Many say they would lasso the moon for their lovers (not me)
I want to handcuff you to the moon feeding forever on the reflection of the two silver stars that graced our lives, kissed our souls, deepened our sighs
Maybe forever is clouded by the cloak of fear or familiar while I stand naked and bare within this cloak of love just for you
I beg of you to untie me...see me...touch the skin that also is in need of your flesh to connect with mine fly with me into the night sky then fleeing curious eyes in the light of our days place your hand on my chest and feel my heart beat for you only you
(or)
Stay in the shallow waters of familiar walk the shores, lakes and streams that you know just know...you will always in sadness and deep despair be left wondering...always empty in not knowing why the universe place two silver stars in sight of the moon
Let me take you there...to the moon where I would hand cuff you for all eternity ties that bind...lips pressed, hands in firm grip gold on silver
Question this? I do not..x
