V.I.VIII.Desire

V.I.VIII.Desire

A Poem by LilyGrace

How I wish to feel your touch on my skin

Your kiss on my lips; the sweetest of sins.

And oh how I dream of your kiss on my shoulder;

Your arms holding me tight, gaze makes me smoulder.

Your fingertips brush lightly, caressing everywhere;

Your hands running through, then tugging my hair.

Everywhere you touch simply burns with desire;

Your caresses ignite an insatiable fire.

This poem can create a very vivid and real picture in the reader's mind. I love the details of the action as the passion escalates. Very nice flow and rhyming. All in all: a fantastically sensuous poem.

Urgent and passionate. The rhyme works well and I especially like 'tugging' which suggests a strong pent up animal spirit in need of liberation.
