Sojourn from Reality

Sojourn from Reality

A Poem by LilyGrace

The touch of your fingertips steals my breath;

The soft caress of your lips leaves none left.

The lightest touch and my skin is afire;

A lingering kiss and I burn with desire.

A joy that steals slowly through my heart

In your presence and dwindles in times apart.

With your arms around me, I'm far away;

I'll return to reality on another day.

For now just keep me safe in your arms,

Kiss me, hold me, and keep me from harm.

well this is cute.

There's nothing mindblowing, my jaw isn't on the floor, but it was very pleasant to read :)

Apply your imagination next time. Granted, the worlds just about run out of ways to describe a lovers touch.
It was worth reading all the same.

O take me there! My reality has been all too numbingly real today. You pen a delightful picture here.
