I Wish

I Wish I were fearless

So I could tell you my truth

but I sit and I ponder 

over different points of view

Our bridges are mended 

yet our goal seems further,

I wish I could tell you

that the courage is no longer

a part of my makeup

because I need you beside me.

You're here, I can see you

but I don't feel we're in harmony.

Where you go I'll follow

that much is true

but it's raining today.

I wish I could go with you.

Nice rhyming and sentence structure, it has philosophical imagery as well. I do have one question, in this line (but I don't feel were in harmony.) don't you mean (but I don't feel we're in harmony.)? Thank you for sharing, I look forward to reading more of your poetry.
