Do Not Feed

Do Not Feed

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

The mindless rantings of a crazy girl..

"

The rhino craze

It’s a big deal in this world

Everyone running around in gray fat suits

as if I needed that!

Just paint me gray and get on with it

The world couldn’t find me then

I’d hide between the rocks

Home with the worms

that’s my place

that’s where I belong

Alone among the worm poo!

They’d plant flowers around me, and I’d be safe

all the while never knowing

the paint might wash off when it rained

and they could find me again

They might love me then

I might have a place in this world then

It’s been years since I’ve seen the sun

fighting to feel it underneath my coat of armor

But that’s it for you, girl

What’s your explanation they asked

I glared unfeeling

The rhino craze
