If there is true love

Why couldn't my true be you

If hope is meant to fly

why do mine have broken wings

If I am to fight for love

Why do I not have the strength

The strength to bleed my heart out

 

If A human promise is to be broken

Why am I not able to brake from you

If the rain is to stop falling

Why does the rain flood my soul

If a house is to be secure

Why do the walls close in on me

 

If your happiness is what I want

Why do I not feel happy myself
