Sick

100 Words.

The familiar aching in her chest is spreading, multiplying, dividing--a blazing inferno of electric shocks traveling steadily down. Laying in bed, she can't bring herself to move. Eternally, the room is dark, blackness brings solace to her shattered mind. The paralyzing weight of those words echoes still, the memory that punches her has fractured the bone. Crumpling under the pressure that consumes, flurries of anxiety arise. Lying on that bathroom floor, she begs it to envelop her, absorbing her shaking form into its grainy fibers. The calming of quiet is all she craves, for the terrifying thoughts to somehow cease.
