SugarKills

SugarKills

A Poem by LittleGlassWings

You smoke away your pain

Cut.Stab. Eat. Starve. Bury it.

Like tiny glimpse of sun through a storm

I see yourself...

But hell, its been raining of days

And I don't think you can breathe

through your depression.

I know I can't.

You've been killining yourself

A lot lately. I wonder if you'll ever stop

to think or hesitate.

But I don't think you will

You need to bleed to know your alive

You need to die to know you've bled

It's twisted how much you don't care.

That seems like all I've done recently

But you still hit the smoke

And you stilll think its good...

Are you still good? Do you know when

to stop, or start? Do you know I care?

I hate to disapoint you and say I do

But hell, you've been dying for days

You smoke away your pain

Cut.Stab. Eat. Starve. Bury it.

Like tiny glimpse of sun through a storm

I see yourself...

That's not the you I remember

Do you know her name?

Or are you just going to lose us

Fear.Taste. Feed. Kill. Hate us.

I don't know how you'll stand alone

But I think you already have fallen.

You smoke away your pain

But we won't be there anymore

But you've been killing a lot lately

I don't know if you'll notice we're gone

I don't know if you'll remember to cry

When the sun finally shines
