My tears of sorrow,
my tears of pain,
my tears of knowing
there is no gain.

The soft white petals
known as spring
will help me through
the time of need.

The downy chick
i hold right here
will save my life
so close and dear.

This springtime melody
is here to stay
in my heart
it always may.

The love i need
is in my friend
the love that will help
my broken heart mend.
