My meaning of Love

Every heart has its own meaning of love. Love is same for parents, relatives, friends and companion. There is nothing like pain in love. Love is synonym of happiness.

Love you for your deeds

Love you for your thoughts

Love you for your talks

And love you for all that is yours.

Loved you since the time I didn't even know you  

And loved you when I got to know you.

Loved you when we befriended

And loved you when we fought

for very strong is my love knot.

Loved you when I heard you love someone else

And my love made me support your decision myself.

My love is not to get

but to let

let you live your life at most

for a smile of yours 

I surrender all my happiness.

For you are most important to me 

and I sacrifice myself before thee.

Take my heart

take my soul

take me

and take my all.

Loved you when you got married

love is still there although our meetings are cherished.

You may go away 

but will remain always with me 

for your love made my life lively

and your company made it comely.

I really felt and relate to this. True love doesn't always have the happy fairytale ending, and this is a perfect description of one of the alternatives. I also completely agree that everyone has their own definition of love, based on their own beliefs and experiences. I love this piece.

I really felt this poem. When you really care about a person and they're with someone else, you try not to be selfish and think about their best interest and just be happy for them. I can really relate because I'm coping with that with a person I'm friends with right now. It's like a struggle between being happy for him and thinking about what's happening in the friendship.

more optimistic than what i would've done, but that's what makes me like it better than what i would've done. tragedy breeds cynicism, but optimism eliminates cynicism, leaving room for a smile-the door back to happiness.
