"These Chemicals."

"These Chemicals."

A Poem by Liv

What is it about you that makes me so different?
Not an alchol, not a substance, can even do that.
You keep me sane, but never mundane.
When we're together we could blow everything up-
slighty sitanic, completely careless and always outspoken.
We may offend others, but at least we don't lie.
The things we've gone through together would make others live blind.
We're the underdogs, the ones people don't expect to win.
But with each other, we bring out all of our power from within.
You and I could make a difference, you and I could create madness.
We could make anything if we put our minds together-
we go together like gasoline and fire, the flames just get stronger and go higher.
You are like wind and I am like clouds, the end result being more than the mind could imagine.
These chemicals between us could make an explosion.
These chemicals between us are strong enough to cause erosion.

About
Hey, my name's Liv. I'm 14, and I like poetry. My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson, although I am also very fond of many other poets as well. Just because I am young doesn't mean I can't write, but.. more..
