You're still my one.

You're still my one.

A Poem by WaitingToBeFound

This is a previous version of You're still my one..

Sunrise.

We loved from a young age.

People looked on; told us to take it slow,

But why would I, when I knew you were the one?

Blazing noon.

It was our time.

We were flying above the rest of the world, peoples' talk was done,

There was no coming down, when I knew you were the one.

A cloud was in the way.

Knowing looks, everyone said 'I knew it would never work'.

I looked in your eyes and I saw the fiery sun,

Nobody's perfect, and I knew you were the one.

Sunset.

We loved from a young age.

My face is lined, but we won,

We grew old together,

You're still my one.

This poem is so beautiful and touching. The beginning portrayed the way I teenager may thing when they first think they have fallen in "love". The next two stanzas showing the ups and the downs, and then the end was so heart felt. I loved it.
Keep up the wonderful work.
