My Wandering

My Wandering

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

Richie's stopped answering me yesterday & now in the middle of a convo he did again & he hasn't answered for over an hour...he was the only lifesaver I had in an ocean of depression & now he's gone & the sharks & storms are coming....i

"
I can’t see as I stumble onward.
Blinded by tears of betrayal & fear.
Where did you go? Why did you leave?
Just seconds ago you were here.

Now you’ve left me in this abyss,
& I have to find my way home again alone.
Like a little girl on a dark street at night,
Fear is what pushes me on.

You promised me you’d be there.
Does this sudden absence make you a liar?
If you loved me you wouldn’t go,
& leave me here in the fire.

What are you doing while I’m searching?
Are you having fun with another woman?
As I walk in circles that circle my circles,
Do you feel more like a man?

Years later, I’ll still be wandering,
No longer able to walk. I’ll crawl.
And you’ll be alone & wishing you hadn’t,

Left me all alone to fall.

It's kind of sad when your heartbreak & pain make the best poems...what a price for creativity juice, eh?

wow .... this is another poem that I love so very much!

Your right it is sad, but do you know why heartbreak and pain make the best poems?

Because we don't think about what we write, we don't care what we say, we don't give two flying leaps if anyone likes it or dosen't, because its not for them but for us, and when its for us we pour everything we have into the words... THATS what make a great poem... never holding back and giving it your all...

This had your all, and it was fantastic!
