Under The Moon

Under The Moon

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

I was bored & sad. Chekkit out XD.

"

A trickling waterfall down an ivory cliff.
Is a single tear down my pale cheek.

A scarlet line on smooth white paper.
Is blood running down my wrists.

Charred & blackened regions of the Earth.
Are the swollen bruises on my body.

The grinding sound of sandpaper on steel.
Is a scream erupting from my hoarse throat.

A dark, twisted shape on the grass.
Is me lying here beneath the sky tonight.

The white disk that looms above me.
Is the moon casting down her piteous light.

This is just so sad. Such darkness under the glow of the moon..

I like the choice of words and the form used here. The flow goes very well.

This is a very good piece

This is a dark poem...sad, but I found it to be very powerful.
Your voice the only truth. Sometimes, darkness and sadness are
truly beautiful because that's when we truly feel, and even clearer.
Keep up the good writing....AD
