Angel

just random scribbles of love

An angel fell to earth, so beautiful and pure

She looked upon a human face

And never did she want to depart from this place

She was intrigued, haunted and needed to explore

 

She looked upon a man, a mere man with all his darkness

His soul cracked like glass from the ills of life

She was drawn to him like a moth to a flame

Love doesn’t ask for a name

He was mesmerized by her beauty and politeness

Spellbound a love bloomed his darkness was tamed

 

Assemblage of lovers conflate to one

How love can change tides

And calm storms

for the human heart can be caged in darkness for eternity

to be unlocked instantaneously

and felt till infinity

 

the toughest and darkest heart can be illuminated by love

symbolic like the angel is your soul mate born from one breath

when you meet it shall be till death

When love is alive. People can see the weak, sick and the homeless. The heart and mind dances with hope and great possibilities. When greed is the profit of the leaders. We shall all lose. Thank you Lola for sharing the excellent poetry.
