Oh Moon!

Oh Moon!

A Poem by SomeoneLost
"

No you don't, you never will...

"
Oh moon! Do you love me?

No answers,

No you don't.

But do you know that I love you?

Love the way you shine,

Even staying in dark.

SomeoneLost - They say that after 7 million years of evolution, we only got efficiently functioning brains in the last 2 million of those. Of that 2 million, we only got around to starting civilization in the last 20 thousand of those. And of that 20 thousand, most of the major inventions of our modern society only happened in the last 200 of those, fortunately allowing me to enjoy today’s delicious pizza in the last 2 minutes of those. Kinda makes me proud to be a member of a species who walked out of a cave and onto a moon. Love ya Moon and thanks for the pepperoni. Good work SL. Namyh

Nice poem for the moon. The moon keep our secrets and light-up the nights. Thank you for sharing your words and thoughts.

You are welcome.
I picture a person remaining stoic and paying no mind to thought they are the 'everything' to the person in love with them. And I dig the moon..so nice reference. Well done! :) Thanks for sharing.

Nice work here. Though short, and terse, you capture a longing for something you're unsure you could ever get your hands on. Yet, that doesn't stop us from loving. Nice.

Thank you :)
Simple, short yet it holds meanings a thousand words are not enough. You have beautifully conveyed your love for the person or whatever/whoever you meant for the piece.
Keep up! :)
