Mother Earth

Mother Earth

A Poem by LonelySoul
"

Our polluted planet crys for help

"
Mother Earth is getting bare
Her resources are getting rare
Deforrestation and Polluted air
Spilling oil here and there
just a little who will care
Mother Earth is on her knees
Begging Please Dont cut her trees
They give shade and cool the breeze
Collecting moisture from the seas
They clean the air we all pollute
From acid rains that kill her root
Clear cut timber the stolen loot
Machines of progress man's the brute
Mother Earth can only cry
Her oil fields are running dry
She doesn't need to wonder why
She can't forget days gone by
Men rape the world without a thanks
To fill thier pockets and thier banks
Even bees that store thier honey
Men just say it smells like money
Mother Earth just can't compete
Polar caps can't endure this heat
Polluted air won't smell as sweet
When Mother Earth lays at our feet
