I Prayed

 

I've prayed for Life,I've prayed for Love,
I've prayed for help, from God above,
I could have died, in the days before,
I prayed to God,for help once more,
I prayed for Strength,I prayed for Hope,
to help me think,to help me cope,
as for my life,it was just a bust,
I didn't know who to trust,
I couldn't find one true friend,
I didn't know how it would end,
I felt cold,alone and full of sorrow,
without a care,if I died tommorrow,
So I prayed, to God above,
help me Live and find My Love,
then she took me by the hand,
now this is where I'll make my stand,
I prayed to God under a starry sky,
she sees our Love within my eyes
but I don't know how to do it,
not sure if we'll get through it,
I've just got to play this game,
and I will,I will until...
When God calls My Name.
