Hell, Hath no Fury,like Woman Scorned...so I wrote about it,and then found a better way.

 

You Didn't Have to...

 You didn't have to ask me,to come and love on you,
just leave behind my new career,and all I had to do...
 You didn't have to tell me,you promised this and that,
and didn't have to trash my place,when promises went flat...
 You didn't have to do it,but you spent up all my cash,
and didn't have to freak out,if I smoked a little stash...
 You didn't have to cry,while I wore a hospital gown,
but didn't have to smile,while my world was tumbling down...
 You didn't have to understand,the pain I felt inside,
 and didn't have to tell the world,all that I tried to hide...
  You didn't have to do it,perhaps you knew it all along,
griped about my fishing,and if I partied all night long...
 You didn't have to make me feel, like a minnow before a storm,
but who's to say what's right or wrong,who's to judge the "Norm"...
 You didn't have to "White-wash",to make yourself look good,
and didn't have to interfere,while I'm cutting firewood...
 You didn't have to listen,your friends ran me to the ground,
is there any need to wonder,why I'm not around...
 I'm sorry this sounds just mean,but I got really hurt,
but you didn't have to crush my dreams,and throw them in the dirt...
 You didn't have to do it,but everything has it's cost,
it left me feeling expendable,and my everything was lost...
 You didn't have to do it,but we played your little game,
now I'm alone without a home,where no one knows my name...
 You didn't have to do it,but you listened this end,
Thank You for your time,that you didn't have to spend...

It's gut-wrenching to write about relationship pain. I hurt just reading your poem. I may not have had the exact experiences you had, but I can relate. Nicely done.

Nice rant! With this writing, you are definately able to take a stroll down memory lane and reflect on the negatives, how the got to your inner core.

The flow made me want to keep reading as if there was more you could say.
