Euphoria

Euphoria

A Poem by Lore

i spent all night at the cemetary
accompanying the dead.
Every hour my emotions would vary
but never that thought in my head.

i was wearing black jeans, slim
and Converse All Stars
Complimenting the scene, grim
Only sound in the distance, cars

i was wearing hurt
under a black shirt.
draped in a black coat
with a pocket occupied by a note.

The note said i'm happy
the note said i'm happy

This is certainly an interesting poem!
I love the use of foregrounding, particularly in the second stanza. :)
