Does man truly appreciate variety afterall?

Sheath

Gift of beauty,

Covering for protection

Pink at birth

Now

Cause for depression

Safety from sunlight

Melanin strong:
Tawny, olive,

bronze-chocolate or bone.

Coffee

is taken straight

Or

with

Single,

And double the cream

But unlike the drink

Skin-tone is

None

like the bean.

Isn't it sad

One of

Humanity's needs to war,

Is caused

By nature's love of

The Variety Store?

Ain't that the truth girl! Well written, short, sharp and straight to the point.

Oh my dear what an excellent poem, it is ashamed that so many can't see past color cause that all it is, it's deep down below the surface where the true fires burn giving off the light we must see or the darkness we want to avoid... variety is the spice of life and not just with people.
