World Disturbed

One crow sits
Cawing on the park bench
Intimidating all birds
Each hiding behind
One's own
Invisible fence.

Defiance
Screaming within the trees
Multiple lingoes
In bird tongue spoken
Conflict,
Along the breeze.

One crow leaves
Silence ensues the air
Nestling creatures
Settling again
Resting,
Watching with care.

From the reviews, it can be clearly noticed, this composition received favourable comments. I also found this piece highly inspirational , as it reminded me of these passages;

John 11:50 (The Message)

49-52 Then one of them-it was Caiaphas, the designated Chief Priest that year-spoke up, "Don't you know anything? Can't you see that it's to our advantage that one man dies for the people rather than the whole nation be destroyed?" He didn't say this of his own accord, but as Chief Priest that year he unwittingly prophesied that Jesus was about to die sacrificially for the nation, and not only for the nation but so that all God's exile-scattered children might be gathered together into one people.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful write!

With such clarity you create a moment in time that can be so easily revisited and enjoyed. Love your piece!!!

What an extraordinary portrayal of the power of one, well-placed and vocal, to disturb and disrupt, to cause conflict to erupt, within an otherwise peaceful and harmonious diverse society. Very nice piece.

I love the power in your words using the crow as a protector of those around him showing it only does take one person to make a difference.

I'm all into it. From a strict visual perspective, you can see this happening within the crow world. Underlying meaning could be construed as one power (U.S. for instance) coming and going and the rest of the world waits to see who will fill that void. A great write with vivid imagery. Kudos.
