Perspectives

She wanders the beach alone
Oblivious to the goings on…
Some snicker,
"She's a wandering waif-"
Others see one "looking to take."
Still, more eyes follow,
Assuming, "independence and strength."
While...

She wanders the beach alone
Oblivious to goings on…

"Oblivious to the goings on"...
Not deliberately... she's just preoccupied. Trying to make such an important decision requires all of her resources. That's why she came to the beach today after all, to think, to focus, to decide. She's hoping to find a clear perspective.

Your poem trembles with reality...excellent. Truly a reality incidental to the imaginings of others.

You're the best at what you do, Lorraiyne.

Thanks for your work...!

i liked the concept. Perceptions differ from person to person As long as she knows her intent and purpose ofwhat possible interest to her are what others think
You deliver yourmessage clearly in well written poetic prose
