A Poem by Lorry 4.4

I live for the silence of the night,
to wash away the chaos of days.
Transporting me to the stars above,
lighter than the air that I breathe.
So free.

Free from the bindings of modern life,
I connect to the way it once was.
Unshackled from the weight of being,
I become what we forgot we were.
So free.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm pleasant meditation says i! and how did all that "forgetting" happen i wonder ;} seems so layered :(
reading is uplifting for me ..inspired a couple of deep cleansing breaths and to my relaxing place in the noodle ... strong intro by contrasting one's busy work day with the silence of the night ... we fail too much to take advantage of those wee hours of solitude ... miss out on healing up a bit for the next go round ... i like the philosophical/spiritual closing that heralds back to a place we truly were free ...fine thoughts in the morning for me!

yes being free speaks a lot, we are tied to a lot of conventions that sometimes we forget to ask ourselves are we still happy with what we do?
