The harsh reality

The harsh reality

A Poem by Kirsten write forever
"

I'll add more later got to go just now! Anyway it might not be very good because I have no experience of what it's like to be hurt by the people that love you most (thankfully!) and I'm just attempting to understand it.

"

A small lonely tear trickles down her face;

Despondency fills her sallow eyes;

Facades long forgotten;

Tears that only she can apprise.

A youth long foregone

Thoughts never thought.

A soul long withdrawn.

Her unheard voice whispers softly to her soul of her sadness in all of it's fraught.

The door opens and enters a man.

None but her own father.The burden of her troubles. The initiator of her woes.

He holds his solace in a state of the uptmost pride. A beer can.

She clings onto her knees. Locking herself up within herself. Wishing to escape.
