Shadows Release (acrostic poem)

A Poem by Louis McKraker

Shadows, over time,

Had clung to me--

And how they would depress--

Did they on their own?

Or, did I allow it willingly?

Willingly and knowingly?

Stubbornly and selfishly?

Revelation now, both entrances and

Enlightens me--

Lucid and valuable--

Each and all are now appeased--

And now it happens so,

Shadows, though still my foe,

Encompass someone else entirely.
